HHow They Do It?

Employability Track

Build the proof that gets you closer to green work.

A focused path for young people with basic qualifications who need to close the gap to roles employers are actually hiring for. This is not a general jobs board.

Find your fit

Who this is for

You have a starting point. Now make it employable.

The track is for young people with basic qualifications who are not yet competitive for the green roles they want. You choose a lane, practise what current roles require, and build evidence an employer can inspect.

What you'll build

One lane. Skills tied to real roles.

These requirements come directly from current listings in our green jobs database. As the listings grow, this view changes with them.

How this is different

A project is the proof.

How They Do It does not issue its own certification. You build a real project that demonstrates your skill, decisions, and follow-through to an employer.

If you also want a formal credential, we connect you to outside organisations offering recognised free certification. Their credential sits alongside your project; it does not replace it.

Small groups, not a mass course

Focused enough to know your work.

Cohorts are intentionally small. The aim is practical feedback, visible progress, and support tied to the lane you chose, not a crowded lecture where everyone receives the same generic material.

Optional next step

Add a recognised credential if you want one.

These are independent organisations. How They Do It does not provide or award their credentials, and joining one is optional.
